'Off-Ramp' producer moving to Bay Area news startup

jrblog-queena-400.jpgQueena Kim, the producer/reporter at KPCC's "Off-Ramp" since the show went on the air in 2006, is heading to the Bay Citizen. That's the new Bay Area online non-profit that will begin providing local news pages for the New York Times later this month, is a collaboration with UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism, and is funded by philanthropist Warren Hellman. Kim will be community editor, heavily engaged in building the website's community. "I had a feeling about Queena when I first met her," "Off-Ramp" host John Rabe says in a blog post. Kim says her podcast Cyberfrequencies with Tanya Jo Miller will continue.
