Abby found adrift but safe in her boat

The Qantas jet spotted Abby Sunderland about 11:30 last night (PDT) and made radio contact. The mast of her boat has been knocked off, but she is in good health and has enough food for two weeks, her family's spokesmen said. French vessels are heading her way from the Reunion Island area. The late news made it into the L.A. Times' LATExtra print section in my neighborhood. LAT, VC Star
