The non-profit newsroom arm of the Center for Investigative Reporting in the Bay Area has added Joanna Lin, a former reporter at the Los Angeles Daily Journal and Los Angeles Times, plus Pulitzer winner Ryan Gabrielson and reporter Susanne Rust. Also, director Louis Freedberg "will be assuming a new position in the organization. Freedberg will become a senior reporter focusing mainly on education," says a blog post. California Watch is still looking for a public engagement manager.
