Just call him Chief Gil Garcetti *

gil-garcetti-da.jpgFormer District Attorney Gil Garcetti stood in on last night's episode of "The Closer" as the police chief of a certain major city who departs just before the department's new headquarters opens. "Uniform, stars and all, ala Bratton," emails someone who watched. Garcetti has been a consulting producer on the TNT series, which stars Kyra Sedgwick.

* Noted: I'm told that Council President Eric Garcetti (his son) was standing behind Gil in the scene.
