Councilman Rosendahl belongs to chicken nation

chicken-corner-eggs.JPGWhat's with everybody keeping their own chickens? There's LA Observed's own Jenny Burman, who regular readers know became a convert in Echo Park several months ago. The New Yorker writer Susan Orlean has been regaling her 121,000 Twitter followers with chicken and egg stories for awhile too. Now we learn that my Mar Vista neighbor, Councilman Bill Rosendahl, also is a raiser of city chickens. He'll be a guest on Evan Kleiman's Good Food show on KCRW at 11 a.m. on Saturday, telling what he knows about the art of raising backyard chickens in L.A.
