Looking for an indie tour of Los Angeles?

7daysinla-logo-jpg.jpg7 Days in LA bills itself as a web home for "the city's most interesting guided tours. We're not a tour operator, but a consortium of the region's best independent tour operators. Whether you're interested in architecture or true crime, film locations or graveyards, gay history or iconic L.A. literature, you'll find the perfect excursion on our community calendar, and all the information you need to book a tour." LA Observed contributor Jenny Price's Los Angeles River tours are among the offerings.

Speaking of, I've sure noticed a lot more tourist buses around, and not just in Hollywood and Beverly Hills. What on earth is that Star Tours (I think) double-decker doing at Pico and Sawtelle before 10 a.m. on weekday mornings, heading west with a few riders up top?
