Mr. and Mrs. LA Observed announce the graduation of our cherished and super-cool Sean from the UCLA School of Arts and Architecture. (Phew, glad that's over.) Saturday's June gloom over Westwood gave way to a crisp blue sky just before the UCLA Brass Ensemble blew the first notes across Dickson Court. The ceremony turned into one of those perfectly California events, complete with orchid leis, bouncing beach balls, quotes taken from Marx, Mao, Duke Ellington and Graham Nash, and a festive Mariachi recessional directed by Jesus Guzman. Congratulations Sean!
