Mid-morning thunderheads

mt-wilson-thunderheads.jpg
There have been some good-sized thunderstorm towers visible over the San Gabriel Mountains already this morning. Looks like the possibility of dramatic afternoon views from the basin. I don't have a great picture of the morning madness, but here's the view a few minutes ago from the Mt. Wilson Observatory cam at 5,700 feet. The image looks north and east and is cropped.
