LAX returning to normal after power outage

lax-powerout-113011.jpgAll passenger terminals and runway 25R were affected by an hour-long power outage tonight at Los Angeles International Airport, the airport media office confirms. Certain other facilities and traffic lights on the streets leading LAX were also affected. Power was restored and operations were back to normal, if behind schedule, as of an hour ago, the LAX Twitter feed says.

Mobile phone photo sent in at 7:30 p.m. by a reader who had just landed from Washington when the power went out.
