Whitney Houston: accidental drowning with cocaine as a factor

The LA County Coroner has ruled that Whitney Houston died of an accidental drowning in which heart disease and cocaine were factors. Traces of marijuana, Xanax and other drugs were found but were not listed as factors in the singer's death. More to come.

Houston died February 11 in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton, hours before she was to appear the pre-Grammys party thrown by Clive Davis.
