The Los Angeles Times' longtime soccer writer, Grahame L. Jones, gets a nice honor this week. The National Soccer Hall of Fame will give him its 2012 Colin Jose Media Award at a ceremony Wednesday ahead of the U.S. Men's National Team match against Brazil in Landover, Md. Jones, you may recall, took LAT retirement last summer and left with an exit note that used the terms "sea dog" and "rusty freighter."
