The Center for Investigative Reporting in Berkeley will curate the new YouTube channel, billed as "a hub of the best investigative reporting from around the world." It's funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. Video contributions are expected from ABC News, BBC, The New York Times, Al-Jazeera and the Investigative News Network, the consortium of 60 nonprofit news organizations. Initial pieces posted include the NYT's series on the death of hockey enforcer Derek Boogaard.
