Big weekend for Angelenos in the New York Times. The paper publishes an obituary of Huell Howser, saying the public television host's "homespun ebullience resonated with viewers and interviewees." The story recounts the episode when Huell reunited an 80-year-old retired elephant trainer with his former animal friend, and notes the homage on "The Simpson's" to Howell Huser.
