Writer discovers that Wet lives on — in Paris

There are many who still remember fondly Wet: The Magazine of Gourmet Bathing, which was published in Venice between 1976 and 1981. Fewer all the time, admittedly. But how's this for strange: Michael Kurcfeld was checking out an exhibition on imaginary languages in the Pompidou Museum recently when he came across a story from Wet — under glass — that he wrote in 1979. He posted about it on Facebook.

He has the knack: a few months ago he turned up the original report on the founding of LA Weekly.
