Two more towers planned for the heart of Hollywood

These new towers would be built on the parking lots around the Hollywood Palladium near Sunset and Vine. "Holy shit," says Curbed LA, "there have been rumors about some kind of development at the site of the Hollywood Palladium for ages now, but here they finally are, for real....two big-ass towers....According to a press release, the developers have submitted plans to "transform the Palladium's existing parking lots into a transit-oriented mixed-use development by adding residential units, street level shops and restaurants, and a potential hotel." This is just down the street from the proposed Millennium towers at the Capitol Records building that are so controversial among Hollywood residents, and the Old Spaghetti Factory site where a big development is planned.
