Actor Dick Van Dyke was driving east on the Ventura Freeway in Calabasas today when his Jaguar began smoking from the front. The 87-year-old Van Dyke pulled over just about the time flames started showing. A passing driver helped him get out before the front of the car burst into a full-on fire. No one was hurt. Van Dyke was said to be a bit disoriented, but he cracked wise for the media that showed up.
