Free tix: Malcolm Gladwell at restored Wilshire Blvd. Temple *

Update: These tickets went faster than any before from LTLA.

Gladwell poster copy.jpgAuthor Malcolm Gladwell will be in town Monday night for a conversation with Tim Long, the Emmy Award-winning writer and producer for "The Simpsons" and former head writer for David Letterman. Gladwell's new book is "David and Goliath: Underdogs, Misfits and the Art of Battling Giants." Live Talks Los Angeles is making five pairs of tickets available to LA Observed readers. Go here to be among the five.

This event comes with an extra treat. The conversation will be held in the newly restored Wilshire Boulevard Temple. Doors will open at 7:15 and the temple organist, William Beck, will perform on the newly renovated organ. The organizers urge guests to arrive early to hear the organ and see the restoration.

Here are some photos of the restored temple by Which Way, LA? at KCRW's website.
