LA Times printing plant photos

Paper Rolls Resize LAObserved copy.jpg

Photographer Julius Chiu doesn't work at the Los Angeles Times, but he managed to get in and take a series of photos at the paper's lone remaining printing plant, on Olympic Boulevard south of downtown. "I tend to romanticize print, old street photography and the Los Angeles of yesterday. I chose the Olympic Print Facility as a social commentary on the decline of print because of the advance of technology."

His website has more of the pictures.
