Streetscape: Where in LA is this?*

I like this red lamp. There's a palm tree in the background. Where in Los Angeles was the picture taken?

Answer Monday night, maybe Tuesday.

* Tuesday reveal: The cool red hanging lamp is mounted outside Los Angeles Fire Department station #39 on Sylvan Street in Van Nuys. Engine Company 39's building dates to 1939. It sits directly across the street from the Valley Municipal Building — aka "Van Nuys City Hall" — that opened in 1933, originally with an LAPD station in the west wing and a receiving hospital and health department in the east wing.
