Is that it? Blue skies outside right now. The rain that blew in overnight was intense and caused the usual problems, plus some that were unexpected. A slide in the Camarillo Springs area of Ventura County damaged at least eight homes and trapped an elderly couple in their home. Eric Spillman is out there for KTLA this morning and posted a photo on his Twitter feed. Here's the story from KTLA and the roundup of weather-related closures, power outages and problems.

I started getting automated flash flood warnings on my phone in the middle of the night. They need to target those geographically a bit better or just stop. Flash flood watches remain in effect for recent burn areas until 10 a.m., per the National Weather Service.
