Teardown: Daily News building in Woodland Hills

Bob Pool, the recently retired Los Angeles Times staff writer, posted a Twitter photo today of the former Daily News headquarters in Woodland Hills being razed. It was the paper's home for 21 years, and where the staff rallied to put out the paper after the 1994 earthquake. The Los Angeles News Group newspaper moved to smaller digs in Woodland Hills in 2008.

In 2009, the old DN home was available for filming: video. In '08, staffers came to work to find a for lease sign on the building.
