Observing Los Angeles

Very nice photo fly-over of Los Angeles by drone (video)

Quad-copter pilot-photographer Ian Wood is back with another breathtaking video of Los Angeles from the air. Hat tip to Bianca Barragan at Curbed LA, whose headline is simply and aptly, This is Just a Really, Really Awesome Los Angeles Drone Video. Wood made a video last year flying over downtown that I loved. This one covers much more ground, taking in from Mariachi Plaza to the beach , the Coliseum, Hollywood, downtown and a dramatic fly-by of the Art Deco tower that soars over Koreatown's Southwestern University Law School, aka Bullock's Wilshire. Signage on view includes the El Royale, Felix Chevrolet and more.Wood made a map of all his locations.
