It's the Mojave, Jake

Bad day yesterday for the stereotypes about the Mojave Desert cities being a hotbed of news of the unsavory kind. But a good day for search engine optimization. First there was:

Naked man covered in blood was 'in a zombie state' as he tried to steal cars in Victorville

Then there was:

Woman freed from locked shed in Lancaster after year of torture

And finally last night, an attempt to deliver a warrant in Palmdale led to a grisly discovery in a shed:

3 adult human skulls found at Palmdale home

A sheriff's spokesman says the skulls "appear to be part of the homeowner's religious practice."
