This is the one developed by the L.A. office of Deutsch that had a robot being thrown off an assembly line because he dropped a screw. He's so upset about not meeting GM's quality standards that he jumps off a bridge - except it's all just a dream. Anyway, a suicide prevention group started to complain, and the automaker, after initially saying it wouldn't change the ad, now says that it will. A GM spokesman said that the spot would be aired after the changes were made, but a date hasn't been set (I wouldn't hold my breath). Earlier, the same ad drew criticism from auto workers whose jobs have been threatened - and lost - because of said robots.
