Elizabeth Spiers moving on

She's leaving Dead Horse Media, the blog network that runs DealBreaker, AboveTheLaw, and Fashionista. Spiers is calling it an "insurmountable difference of opinion" with the investors on where to take the business. She wanted to do more sites and they wanted to improve the current lineup. "It's a reasonable position, but not one I agree with," she said in an email to BW's Jon Fine. Spiers was the founding editor of Gawker.com, as well as editor in chief of mediabistro.com.
