Angelenos doing it in NY

Does David Geffen really need another $6 million? That's the chump change he's pocketing from the sale of a 12-room duplex penthouse at 810 Fifth Avenue (Nelson Rockefeller's old pad). Blackstone Group co-founder Pete Peterson is buying the co-op for $37.5 million and here's the fun part: Geffen never moved in. That, according to the NY Post's Page Six, is probably a big relief to the co-op board, which tends to turn down bachelors (they're more the partying kind than dull married types, you see). Also in NY: The Post spotted former HBO head Chris Albrecht out on the town with his gal pal Karla Jensen - you know, the one he grabbed by the throat in Vegas. They were getting a bite in TriBeCa.
