Ellen DeGeneres asking $60 million for Bev Hills compound?

ELLEN.jpg That's the word from the Real Estalker (via Curbed LA) - $49 million for the 9,000-square-foot main house, and another $11 million for separate guest and staff quarters - plus two additional houses on adjacent parcels that DeGeneres and partner Portia De Rossi purchased to preserve their privacy (a common maneuver among super-rich celebs). It's only money, right? DeGeneres bought the main house in 2007 for $29 million. From Real Estalker:

The center piece of the compound, which she bought in early 2007 from Will & Grace co-creator Max Mutchnick for $29,000,000, includes an approximately 9,000 square foot main house with extensive outdoor living areas plus a detached guest house. Your Mama understands from several little birdies who have visited the property for one reason or another that the main house includes a kick-ass master suite with extensive dressing area and three more guest/family bedrooms each with en suite facility and private nudity-encouraging sunbathing terrace plus a kick-ass master suite.

By the way, DeGeneres wound up 31st on the Forbes list of 100 biggest celebrities, with earnings over the past year of $45 million, down from a year earlier. Besides her daytime talk show, she has marketing deals with CoverGirl, American Express and Vitamin Water.
