Business Update on KPCC: Downtown stadium, L.A. tourism

Looks like the City Council is ready to sign off on at least a tentative deal with AEG on the downtown complex, but how much will it help generate convention business? I chat with Steve Julian about the prospects, along with the potential economic impact of the big Cirque du Soleil show. Available at kpcc.org and podcast (Business Update with Mark Lacter). Transcript is after jump.

I also talked about the stadium agreement with Larry Mantle this morning on "Air Talk."
