Cain decides to stay in race

He's worth it - if only for the entertainment value. From the NYT:

A buoyant and defiant Herman Cain took the stage in a hotel ballroom on Wednesday morning to reassure a group of several hundred supporters that he would not be getting out of the race for the Republican nomination, saying, "The American people are going to raise some Cain in 2012!"

Somewhat bad news for Gingrich, who could have picked up a sizable chunk of the Cain-raisers. Speaking of the ever-so-humble Newt - from NY magazine:

"I told somebody at one point, 'This is like watching Walton or Kroc develop Walmart and McDonald's.'" -- Newt Gingrich, on his own presidential campaign.
