Do yourself a favor and watch this stunning view of Earth

Earth | Time Lapse View from Space, Fly Over | NASA, ISS from Michael König on Vimeo.

The crew of the International Space Station shot thousands of photographs, and editor Michael König put it all together in a mesmerizing five-minute clip. You'll see an especially great vantage point for the Aurora Borealis, and the frequent flash of lightning. Also, some amazing city lights. Why not take a few minutes out your eating and football watching this Thanksgiving and show this wonderful view of Earth - remembering that we all have a lot to be grateful for.
