Latest sign of recovery: More pricey wine being bought

Not the most reliable economic indicator, I grant you, but for what its worth: The segment priced between $15-$19.99 per bottle has grown by 16.2 percent over the last 12 months, while everything below $8 has grown by just 3.5 percent. (Numbers are from Shanken News Daily h/t OC Register) Actually, overall wine sales have been up since 2010.
