Taking LAX's new international concourse for a spin

LAXnew.jpgNice moment for America's "kick-me" airport - a Qantas A380 jumbo-jet was scheduled to pull into Gate 134 of the Bradley West international concourse - the first time that passengers will be walking into the new facility. Call it a soft opening that starts with arrivals and, if all goes well, will be followed by departures. The terminal will open in phases, with the extension slated for completion in 2014.
