The tone of Saturday's march was summed up by one young's speaker's words: "I turn 18 this year and I can't wait to vote."

Young people across the country are taking the moral high ground and will use their votes to change our policies. As chants of "Vote them out!" resonated in the streets of Los Angeles and around the world, I thought, this is what democracy looks like.
