LACMA's hanging train

Regarding the proposal by Jeff Koons to design a chugging, steaming, whistling replica of a locomotive to hang over the entrance at the redesigned Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Wilshire Boulevard...

Train close up I wonder how long it would take for some of my more psychotic neighbors at Park LaBrea to shoot out the whistle? Come to think of it, I wonder how long it would be before the rest of us at Park LaBrea and environs would become psychotic and try to shoot out the whistle? It's enough that the new bell at the Grove dings at four minutes past every hour.
