800 try, 2 are selected

The Galaxy says that 800 hopefuls ponied up $130 each to try out for the team over the weekend — and if so, that's a brilliant cash-generating promotion for the team. Merlin lives in France and came over for the tryout, and Fortes lives in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
