Getting tough with Nikki Finke

A former New York Post police reporter-turned private investigator is trying to dig up dirt on the LA Weekly's columnist Nikki Finke, who's suing the Post and Disney over her firing, Cynthia Cotts writes in the Village Voice. Finke's Los Angeles attorney, Pierce O'Donnell, calls it sleazy and desperate. The story is the latest skirmish in the lawsuits filed after Disney complained to the Post about Finke's reporting and used language that an appeals court ruled recently may well have been libelous.
