Ron Curran, journalist was 43

The former LA Weekly writer and news editor (1983-93) died this week at home in Huntington Beach. Curran wrote about the Community Redevelopment Agency, the LAPD and the Church of Scientology before moving to the San Francisco Bay Guardian and later launching Bang!, a zine that published other writers. Howard Blume sends him off in tomorrow's Weekly.
