LAT Biz moves (updated)

For those who keep track of such things (you know who you are), L.A. Times Business Editor Rick Wartzman is shuffling some desk assignments. As of Monday, these moves kick in:

Joel Sappell - to Deputy Business Editor, primarily for Hollywood coverage.

Marty Zimmerman - to Senior Editor of the California business team.

Don Lee - to write and edit on economics team.

John Corrigan - to Markets Editor.

Nancy Rivera Brooks - to assistant editor on the California team.

Bill Loving - to redesign and work on new standing features.

Meanwhile, the Times looks to be trying to woo Vernon Loeb away from the Washington Post's CIA beat to edit projects for the Metro staff. The Post is said to be countering the LAT's offer to Loeb.
