Mike Downey reappears (sorta)

There's a familiar name in the L.A. Times sports section Sunday. Mike Downey, now of the Chicago Tribune, but formerly the big cheese LAT sports columnist then the victim of a failed experiment as a cityside columnist, writes a "commentary" about the Chicago Cubs signing of pitcher Greg Maddux. He gets a link on the front page of the LAT website.

(Scratch that. He appears only on the website, not in my sports section.)
