In 1997 during his investigation of President Bill Clinton and the Monica Lewinsky affair, special prosecutor Kenneth W. Starr was chosen to be dean of the law school at Pepperdine University in Malibu but turned down the job. The L.A. Times reports today that he's back on the short list of candidates to be named dean again.
