Tribune speculation (spiked) *

Yesterday's Las Vegas Sun said the "rumor of the day" is that the Tribune Co. is talking to the owners of the Las Vegas Review-Journal about acquiring the paper. Today at the end of the column on the Sun website, the paper apologizes for not checking it out further and quotes the Review-Journal publisher saying there is nothing to it. (Via Romenesko)
