Police line up for Hahn too

Adding to Mayor Hahn's labor sweep this week, the Police Protective League officially threw its endorsement his way today. No surprise there, since the LAPD rank-and-file are happy with the 3-12 work schedule Hahn pushed so they could take second jobs on the side and run their outside businesses more efficiently. "Our members were impressed by Mayor Hahn's strong commitment to public safety and his determination to tackle the many problems plaguing the City," president Bob Baker said in a release. Be interesting to see how many candidates show up at the league's annual holiday party for politicos at Union Station this afternoon. Meanwhile, Villaraigosa did pick up the United Teachers of Los Angeles.
