Garcetti blog

LaBongeCity councilman Eric Garcetti blogged his inside-the-yellow-tape observations of the Glendale train wreck. His reelection campaign blog also includes photos of the carnage and of fellow councilman Tom LaBonge on the scene (pictured). Late Thursday, Garcetti's press aide, Josh Kamensky, sent word that Garcetti has set up the City of Los Angeles District 13th Train Wreck Relief Fund (with a Paypal donate button on the website.)

My office will be directing these donations through the City of Los Angeles to ensure that these resources go to where the need is greatest, including hospital expenses for the victims, relief work, and burial costs for the families of the deceased.

Garcetti has no candidate running against him in the March 8 primary.
