No surprise that City Controller Laura Chick came out today in support of Antonio Villaraigosa. She endorsed him four years ago, and in the city council Villaraigosa backs her wish to expand her office with more investigators. Also, the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce endorsed Jim Hahn. Not a surprise either, given that the chamber endorsed Hahn four years ago and the immediate past chairman, George Kieffer, led previous Hahn campaigns. Howard Fine has a story on the L.A. Business Journal site.

* Tomorrow: I don't suppose Hahn will be calling into "John and Ken" again anytime soon (unless they decide Villaraigosa is too brown for the KFI audience and offer to kiss and make up.) But Hahn, who actually does a lot of morning radio, is scheduled to be on KABC with Doug McIntrye at 8 a.m. He goes on "Talk of the City" with Kitty Felde on KPCC at 2 p.m. Villaraigosa is being billed on KNX at 4:30 p.m. Friday; Hahn was on today.
