So much for Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley having reputations as the nation's safest cities. A violent Indiana man began killing yesterday in T.O. and shot himself today in a Simi Valley Wal-Mart. A Ventura County sheriff's deputy wounded this morning is in stable condition, but a 48-year-old woman attacked in front of her two children died this afternoon at a hospital. Two others died Monday.
