Today's Daily Journal leads with a story on attorney Paul M. Sandler, who won a big victory on Friday when a federal jury quickly acquitted political fundraiser David Rosen of hiding info about details of an event he helped put on for Hillary Clinton. Fortunately for Sandler, his new book of legal tips, Raising the Bar< was published near the end of the trial.

Also at the Daily Journal: Newsroom chatter has outgoing editor Katrina M. Dewey considering a job with Sitrick and Company. Former LADJ managing editor Robert Emmers works at the crisis PR firm, and has been in the news over its work with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Dewey tells me: "That's another of the options I'm looking at. I think the world of Bob, who was my managing editor before Marty, and would love to work with him again."
