O'Reilly vs. Hilburn? **

Fox News crank Bill O'Reilly apparently is upset now with LAT rock critic Robert Hilburn. According to the conservative website Independent Sources, on his show last Friday O'Reilly bashed Hilburn for being a "dishonorable" liar. His supposed sin? Labeling O'Reilly as controversial and ultraconservative in a critic's notebook about Live 8 after he allegedly promised not to use any adjectives.

** LAT corrects: Hilburn did promise not to apply any adjectives to O'Reilly, and "ultraconservative" was added to the column by a copy editor, a Times correction says Tuesday.
