Be very afraid

Colleen Wainwright reports at Blogging.la that an L.A. Times circulation clerk offered her a lower price to take the paper for more days, if only she would not switch to Sunday-only circulation:

Rrright. So basically, they'll pay me 75¢/wk to NOT read the paper they're telling their advertisers I'm reading.

I don't know much about a lot of things, but I do know that if I were in the newspaper business, I'd be very, very nervous.

And at FishbowlLA, accused sexual harasser Dov Charney of American Apparel complained about a post, he and editor Michael Sonnenshein had a little phone chat, and now they are kind-of pals. "The point is that Charney may actually be a good guy," the blog writes.
