• The Ethics Commission fined Councilman Eric Garcetti $5,000 for failing to file ten mailers from his 2001 campaign. Will Campbell at Blogging.la objects on Garcetti's behalf.

• City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo speaks to a Current Affairs Forum breakfast on Friday.
