Miller and BrattonThe former ABC News reporter who worked closely with Chief William Bratton in New York and followed him to the LAPD is leaving for Washington. Miller, who has been the chief of counterterrorism and organized crime here, will be assistant director for public affairs at the FBI, the Times' Andrew Blankstein reports today. I believe the first report to correctly nail that Miller was FBI-bound was from KFI's Eric Leonard. What better time to reprise Miller's greatest hits while in Los Angeles—and to ask whether he will be allowed to carry a firearm there?
